![]() Seriously, I'd look at some clubs from 3 years ago. One reason is pricing: a lot of new models are in the $400-$500 range, but in 6 months they'll be selling for half that. Another reason is shaft length. Most of the OEMs have gone to 46" (or longer) shafts, so they can claim you will hit it longer. The average shaft length on tour is something like 44.5" (shorter = better contact). Don't be afraid of component stuff, either. Golfsmith's Snake Eyes brand and the Maltby stuff from Golf Works (Golf Galaxy) have been getting decent reviews for the last few years. Posted via Mobile Device |
