From my experiences, I found that straight cigar tobacco, even from really good/smooth cigars, is pretty rough when smoked straight in a pipe.

If you were to mix it with pipe tobacco, now, that's a different matter. That I found to be tolerable, although not very interesting or what one might expect.

Absolutely, heck, one might even find it enjoyable that way, I just wouldn't rush out to smoke the cigar that way if there were any other options or possibility of salvage.

i had a similar thing happen but it was no stick to fret over. good luck tho.

Yep, I wouldn't be heartbroken if the cigar was tossed but I guess it is just the challenge and the fact that I did it myself.
