There is a small B&M named Jerry's that seems to have a decent group of people there. A good friend of mine owns an oyster bar named Barnacle Bill's. It is a great spot IMO. It is on north Monroe. My brother is the service manager for Kraft Nissan... so if you ever need any service work done...
Other than that I avoid Tallahassee like the plague. It's enemy territory!!! |

Well, I'm a UT fan, so I'm really not too concerned about the crappy football team.
![]() Thanks for the suggestions so far, and keep 'em coming! ![]() |

![]() Haven't been there for many years but besides sports at the local universities (don't forget FAMU, they've got the best marching band in the world bar none) the gulf is close. You might try a trip down highway 98 for sightseeing and seafood. It's an old article but I bet you'd still find some mentioned places "Getting a Taste Of 'Slow' Food Along the Gulf" Lots of good golf courses around there too. FSU has a first class theater/music/ballet department and there is Maclay state gardens. Unlike Gainesville, Tallahassee can have a small town feel to it though. Hell, Gainesville is only a few miles from Micanopy and everyone knows that's a happening place..... ![]()
