Scott,
This may sound crazy but I have at times done yard work with the likes of a Padron Anni 1926.
I have evolved to smoking what I want at that moment, regardless of what it is.
Sometimes it turns out to be a cheap cigar.
Sometimes it turns out to be a costly one.
Basically varies on my mood.

This past Monday, I mowed the lawn while smoking an R&J Short Churchill from my homeland.

After all, it is all about the pleasure. Smoke what you like.

I generally smoke an Anejo when I'm shoveling snow. I feel ya.

We burn lots of JLP's here. I love em. So good and so cheap. They don't hold up very good in the wind. Nice sit cigar though.
