It all comes down to Sunday, and like I said a while back...

At least Avery is supposed to still be out. I think he's more effective against the Flyers than almost any other team.

Rod Brind'Amour will miss the last game of the season in Boston with a reported "lower body injury" (groin strain).

Many speculate that he has played his last game as a Hurricane... and possibly the last of his career.

If so, he will be missed. A true HoF player in my book.

A great player and a class act as well.

As for the Blackhawks First round opponent:

Quote:
Should the Hawks lose on Sunday and Los Angeles beats Colorado, the Hawks would meet Nashville in the first round.

If the Hawks lose and the Kings lose in regulation or overtime, those two teams would play in the first round.

A Hawks win would give them eighth-seeded Colorado in the first round.

No way can the Hawks and Detroit meet in round one.

They made the dance.
I think they can win a first round even against washington. If they don't win a first round I sure hope they make it interesting and make it a seven game series. Make the other team wish they didn't play The B's.

Joey Kocur reborn? What a knockout.

Never want to see a player leave on a stretcher though, ever.

I know they have very good team D and Rask can stone the best of them. just no one to put the puck in the net.
I think they are going to have to clean house.
I would start with the GM and work my way down to stiffs like Ryder.
