When I travel, I use this site and also rely on "Around Me" on my iPhone for cigar shops. http://www.cigarfriendly.us/

Re: How are cigar prices in NJ?
PA is fairly close isn't it. I didn't realize that. Hmmmm.
Blueface that sight is awesome. I found a shop close to where I'm going that didn't come up on Google. Thanks

On top of that, when you get to PA in that area, while a nice area to visit, not like you are going to hit Philly in terms of population and cigar shops.

Thirty minutes to Famous smoke shop. Tempting but a little further than I want to go. I'm going to try the one in Clifton from the site you suggested

In fact, it is cut by Route 3 and borders with Belleville and Nutley. You would have to take the parkway south to then go to 78. Nevertheless, don't expect any more excitement off 78 than off 80. I would do the hour and a half ride to Philly.

Re: How are cigar prices in NJ?
That whole area is my old stomping grounds.
I grew up in Newark and lived in Kearny, Belleville and Lyndhurst. Did a whole lot of driving all over NJ as a wedding photographer.

Re: How are cigar prices in NJ?
You will be about 15 minutes from the J & R store on route 17 in Paramus and about 25 minutes from Cigar World on route 17 in Ramsey. There is also a cigar shop in Montclair NJ I think which is 5 minutes or so away but I forget the name offhand. There is also the Montecristo Lounge off Route 10 in whippany NJ which is also about 25-30 minutes from Clifton.

Man, I'm glad Scott saw this for you, as I missed the thread. I was gonna tell you about JR's there or in Whippany on Route 10, both of which are a dang sight closer than Easton or Philly - especially in a rainstorm. |

Re: How are cigar prices in NJ?
Rainstorm is putting it lightly. It was a hellish day. The Cohiba I smoked on the way back made it bearable

If I was across the street from it I'd be in big trouble.
