Picture a commercial where your car is stolen and a citizen calls a private company that is allied with the government and they locate them driving your car and shut it down.


Then picture a government that is corrupt with back room bribes,under the table deals, blind self-interest, etc. and controls every facet of your existence, and can force you to do things the people do not support, yet the government feels "it is in your best interest."



The first part has happened.

The second part seems to be in process pretty well.
