If the Cigar Oasis is turning on every few minutes, and your cigars are dry, it sounds like you absolutely have a bad seal.

How thick was the weatherstripping you used? You said it is a recent issue? Has anything changed?

Could you be more specific with respect to the issue you had with an oasis? Did you experience the unit turning on all the time for only a few seconds at a time?
