Cello on or off?

I had mine on for a while, but I like the way the sticks look naked in the humidor.

I do keep it on cigars that I'm aging so I can see how long it takes to yellow the cellophane. So once I find that out, I may take it off for everything.

Due to manufacturing differences, not all cello yellows at the same rate. Additionally, certain external factors can greatly accelerate the yellowing process.
