Default Re: The new Dominos Pizza

Having lived in Jersey all my life, I've had lots of great pizza, especially down the Shore and at a number of spots in North Jersey.

At least to me, the chains are all overloaded with dough and cheap sauce that tastes like over-sweetened catsup. The toppings are more like decorations than real food. About the only one I've somewhat enjoyed has been Uno's back in the day.

I look for a spicy sauce with strong pepperoni, sausage, and thin cut black olives that are fresh. The California pizzas, at least for me, need to stay there.

Currently the best local joint by me in South Brunswick is Giuseppe's. Another place is Attilio's Pizza & Restaurant in North Brunswick along Rte. 1S.

I think I'll have to stop by Giuseppe's for lunch tomorrow.
