I was going to suggest a Punch but as I read further, you've already tried one. One of my favorites so far is a Punch Rothschild Maduro. It's a full strength stick, but to me it smokes like a mild cigar, the finish is very short and clean. Hard to go wrong with this one. Very nice in my opinion.
