I'll give you a peice of advice...

There's always going to be a 'next thing' when it comes to technology, and with the way technology is advancing, the time it takes to get the the 'next thing' is going to get shorter and shorter.

Just pick something It'll be outdated before you get it home regardless of what you buy.

Generally I agree with this but the Macbook Pro is late in it's product cycle. This is a time when it would behoove the buyer to wait a month or two.

I agree. If you know the new one is coming out within the next 90 days, you should wait. Besides if I did just buy it now I'd be complaining about how I didn't wait when the new one comes out.

By that estimation.. odds are one is gonna be waiting till June.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I can accomplish an awful lot in the time it takes to get to June.

stock seems to be getting depeleted at major retailers, and Nvidia is releasing their new video whatever tomorrow so it could be updated tomorrow

The Mac Pro's are will have dual 6-core gulftowns(i7 980X). Now that's more my style.
