Csonskas work very well within the limitations of the device. They remove redsidual odors well via the generation of ozone, but they are not "smoke eaters", so you have to vent the excess smoke from the room beforehand, which the fart fans should do a sufficient job of for up to a couple of people smoking (2-3 ish), but you are going to lose some heated air via those fans.
