Default Re: Zagat Wine Club

In this price range I think you're way better off becoming a "regular" at your local wine shops and listening to their recommendations (after telling them what YOU like).

In general, wine clubs offer wines that are not wanted by the marketplace. In some cases, these may be surplus. I am talking about price range in question, some wine clubs may be worth it although on a pricey side. Zagat may send you a couple of bottles in each shipment you may actually like, but then you need to figure out just what the "real worth" of these 2 bottles will be when you spend $140 for them.

But in the end, your money and your call.
