I don't smoke a lot of maduros, but when it comes to Padron, the darker the better. I hope you don't give up on these. The maduro wrappers really are much better and many here including myself, love them dearly. I would recommend trying the Londres next. This one is the tastiest of the regular line in my opinion. and yes, Padrons are notoriously ugly, but they kinda get a pass because they're so damn good. |

I smoked several boxes each of the 2000 and 3000 14-15 years ago and they were one of my favorite smokes. I had a couple of 3000's in the last week from a sampler and they were pretty good--------for a $2.00 cigar. No, actually, I have $2.00 cigars in the cooler that I like better. I don't know if I changed or the Padron changed. Perhaps, both.
