Being as the last scene took place at the docks, I was expecting the two involved in the scene to go on board Dexter's boat and find a body, but quite the opposite happened.

I was thinking Anton too. It's a bit of a stretch seeing he's so laid back and is not the most ambitious person in the world.

I agree, however it's a little sloppy for the Trinity killer to shoot people and leave witnesses.

I'm thinking it was Anton and Dexter is going to be sloppy in going after him which will cause a chance meeting with Trinity. Trinity will go after Dexter's family then things will get kooky.

I like this theory.

Dexter also alluded to revealing his secret to his family on his last kill. If Scott's theory is correct, he may be forced to tell Rita. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
