No. It caught me by surprise when I saw the larvae moving when the mouse was clearly deceased but I had no interest in messing with it.

Like I said I'm not generally squeamish but this was pretty repulsive. I don't even want to think about the brain worms.

Thanks for helping me figure out what it was. The good news is the human infecting botflys don't seem to live north of mexico. I took a shower anyway. :P
