It was on a bear hunting trip this past spring near Juneau that I truly learned to appreciate cigars. I thought, at the time, that it was mostly the scenery, the food, and the elation of getting a bear earlier that day that made it so great. But when I got home I enjoyed them almost as much. But there is something about Alaska, that's for sure.

Just got back from that same cruise, PJ! Spent many hours with some good sticks and met some new friends at Churchill's. Enjoy!

Just closed down the cigar lounge tonight. Been putting away some nice sticks. Hell of a good Boli tonight + a Padilla Signature 1932 Toro...the old ones.

Pretty decent crowd of BOTL on the ship.

glad you're enjoying your R&R.......and you're able to smoke somewhere other than the "poop deck" (sounds like a place to walk a dog)

Were due back Monday.

Another great group tonight. Put away a Avo Signature + a Winston Churchill. Thinking after our port call tomorrow/today it will be a evening of Habano's.

Smoked a few good ones in The Churchill Lounge with a friend I met on the cruise who only smoked Monte #2's! Said he only smoked the best on Cruises! I like the way he thinks! Enjoy the Cruise & Smokes, Brother!

Cold and wet today in Skagway...warm and dry in Churchill's this evening. Enjoyed a very nice Padron 40th Anni that Frank "jechelman" had gifted me some time back. Finished off the evening with a Graycliff Double Expresso. Does not get much better.
