Better talk with your auto insurance agent first. Your rates might take an even bigger hike if you are convicted of a moving violation.

What did you tell the police? I mean there was a deer that ran out in front of me so I slammed on the brakes and ended up in the guard rail.

I did not pull the deer card. I really didnt want to lie to the police.

As for police showing up in court...at least in my dept. if I don't show up I better have a darn good reason or I get wrote up and a day off.
