Agree with this suggestion. Back when I was 420+ pounds the treadmill I had was just a killer on the joints. Picked up an elliptical - no more pain and faster workouts.

Another vote for an elliptical

Bang for your buck nordic track makes a decent one. I forget the specific model. I can find out if your interested.

All out get a Precor or Life Fitness.
