Am I the only one who thinks that oysters look like a giant wad of mucus?

Red is roe, green is hepatopancreas and is where the contaminants such as mercury are concentrated. I avoid this stuff although I ate a lot as a kid.

![]() I eat everything....lobster meat in the tail, claws, legs, head, anything I can get to...shell, bring it on! But I didn't know about the mercury being concentrated there, oops. The tamale is great to put on bread...now, I've had irresistable green goop and stuff that kinda grossed me out (especially at the beginning when I turned on to the stuff) but I'll eat it gladly. Please pass me yours. |
