Maybe this will help you. I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003. When you open it up, there is a tab at the top toolbar listed "TOOLS" Click this. It brings up a drop down box. Select "OUT OF OFFICE ASSISTANT" It then shows a 'bubble' box for "I am currently out of the office" and a text box underneath where you can leave a message.
