I enjoy watching the Red Wings... but I am hoping that the "Cardiac Canes" can pull off the upset win for the Cup - assuming they can get past the Penguins.

I agree with the Hog on his first sentence. He rooted against an original six team playing a bunch of CT exiles from the south. Their original fans were freaking Yankee fans. Good luck to both the Canes and Hawks ( but is it a bad thing if I root for a Hawk to put Walker's face through the glass?). Can't root for the Penguins. The only time that I have rooted for a team from that city was when the Steelers played the Colts.

Ouch.

I still love you anyways, Paul.

I'm thinking the Canes-Pens series will come down to what kind of job the Cane's defensemen do in the crease. Against Boston they gave up so many opportunities when the man that's supposed to be covering the crease, was caught watching the play in the corner and letting forwards have their way cutting in. We saw the same thing in the Pens-Caps series and Pittsburgh will kill you if they're left unmolested around the goal.

If they can take care of business in front of the net, Ward's playing hot enough to get that first shot. We'll see in two days. At the very least Eric Staal won't have to deal with Lurch all over him. That alone should lift his game to another level....god i love this time of the year!

The Hog knows that I still love him even when he is wrong.
