USPS price hike

I go to the store and buy a Birthday card in Chicago for my friend in Los Angeles. "How much will you charge me to take this card to my friend's house in L.A.", I ask.

"44 cents" is the reply.

Pretty amazing when you think about it in those terms.

Kind of like the people who get mad when their airline flight gets delayed 20 minutes. Do they realize they are getting in tons of steel, and flying through the air at 600 miles per hour? They should be in awe....but instead they are irritated.
