I like the lower end Padrons more than the lower end Fuentes but I like the higher end Fuentes more than the higher end Padrons.

Confused?

Padron 2000 > AF Curlyhead

Hemmingway > Padron 40th

Opus > Padron 80th

I guess i'd have to go Fuente. They have a broader range of selections as far as I'm concerned.

Default Re: Fuente vs. Padron

I can honestly say I've never had a Padrón that I liked , to ashy and harsh and I've only tried the Anniversary lines . Fuente all the way from my Shark Tank to my 858 Sg's to my Chateůs to Opus Super Belis and Petit Lanceros to Hemingway Natties and the super cheap Curly Head Deluxe Maddies .

Padron wins easily for me because everything they attempt to do is well done.
From their lowliest handmade cigar to the top of the line, they are all worth smoking. I do not like much Fuente anymore except for the Spanish Lonsdale and the 858. Hell, I don't even smoke NC cigars anymore. But I would always take a Padron if offered, and that is not true of a Fuente.

I like both... but I would have to say Fuente!

Anejo, Opus, GOF... these are some of my favorites.
