I'd been thinking about getting a Palio for a while. I noticed that the B&M where we herfed over the weekend was a dealer, so I picked one up there. I also couldn't help noticing that many of the B&M regulars, as well as several of the guys I herfed with, were all using Palios.

Exactly. All my buddies use Palio's and after using thiers I was so impressed I went out and bought my own.

I don't like the new Palios. In fact, mine broke the other day (came apart, blade went flying) and I threw it in the trash. Yeah, I could have fixed it myself or sent it for repair, but why would I want another? I didn't think much of the cut from this one either, it was rarely perfect. Not a big fan of Xikars either, but at least those look cool and are made of metal.

Sean,

If you send it to me, I'll exchange for you!

Although it doesn't happen often, you may have just had one that wasn't up to snuff.

They really do have the best cut, I've been using the first one I ever bought like 7-8 years ago as my "go to" cutter and it's as sweet as ever.

Probably explains why I can't light cigars with laser vision. Oh well, at least I can still fly.

The jury is still out as to whether or not jrwingate6 and Obscenejesster are one and the same person. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt until I can sort this mess out. (I did make an earlier post suggesting they were the same and had reasonable suspicions. Now I am not as sure.)

Classy, thank you. But when I say I threw it in the trash, I actually threw it in the trash, and that bag is gone. I just use a pen knife and am happy with that. One less thing to lose (as it is on my keys, I am pretty careful).

I've always wanted to try cutting a cigar with a band saw, just out of curiosity.

Used mine recently at the local cigar bar and let a few others use it. They all thought it was best they ever used both in form and function.

Grabbed one on Saturday as well. I couldn't find it last night and thought I had lost it...False alarm, it was just under my seat. Works great so far.
