Wrapper takes a big consideration when I'm choosing a smoke. Certain cigars in their natural wrapper I dislike but in maduro or something else I like. Fuente is a good example. I don't like any of their natural-wrapped cigars, but their candelas and sun growns are very good to me.
I actually dislike Cameroon. For one it has a very dry taste to me and ends with an unpleasant aftertaste toward the end of the cigar. Also, Cameroon just doesn't work in Colorado; it's too fragile and not worth the hassle. I do like corojo now and then as well, and sometimes an oscuro hits the spot. But my favorite cigars don't have a wrapper choice - whatever them Cubans are using is just fine by me ![]() |
