when did samoas get changed to "caramel delights"??

My fiance said that the names are dependent on the baker of the cookies, so each state may be different. There are two bakers, Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers. Some cookies are only made by only one of the companies, the ones that are made by both have different names except for Thin Mints which are made by both.

interesting. I wonder if the ones around here switched bakeries recently... cause I could have sworn that they were Samoas last year and this year we have the De Lights
