I'd try it. I don't think I could eat one of those big black beetles, though. If my survival was at stake, and I'd already eaten Darrell, the big black beetles would definately move way up on the menu.

I even ate liver and onions when I was a kid and actually liked it. I like pickled heart and pig's feet, or at least I used to. It's red meat. If we're eating said person in the tropics, it's likely to be very lean. Odds are I won't like it because I like well-marbled meat. It'd be too dry for me. But I can't see why I wouldn't try it. I've tried a lot worse than a slab of red meat. Sweet Potatoes, for instance. ![]()
