Cobb had racist tendencies, but he was one of Jackie Robinson's biggest supporters.
And as far as playing dirty, the late Eddie Guererro was famous for the saying, "Cheat to win".
Ric Flair is an icon and he was known as "the Dirtiest Player in the Game".

And Pete got screwed by baseball. He bet on his own team, not against them.

You can't fault a guy that gives 100% every day, even if he has a penchant for gambling and hookers. That actually makes me like him better. He's a regular guy.

Well the incident has been boiled down here. In context, the guy was heckling Cobb for innings. Cobb told the Umpire and Managers to have the man removed, and they failed. The guy shouted something about Cobb's mother, so Ty made good on his promise to fix the situation himself.

Joe DiMaggio was the man.
