Bang for the buck maybe...but as far as out and out cheap I've yet to see a $399.99 plasma at the grocery store.

FWIW The TV at the supermarket was a 42 inch LCD for $400 (come to think of it it might have been $500) right before X-mas. I've never heard of the brand and I am a big enough nerd to know a lot of the off brands. I wouldn't have bought it but I'm sure someone did. If I recall correctly they had a 32 inch Plasma (yes, a 32 inch Plasma is what it said on the box) for around the same price.
