As Lenguamor pointed out gold in its pure form is non toxic. Considering the high melting point (1064 degrees C) and boling point (2856 degrees C) of gold I would guess that practically all gold will be left in the ash!

It wouldn't even burn. It would just give your cigar a horrible tasting tunnel as the flame works its way toward your mouth as it tries to find a way out.
