As a N00b to cigars, but not to pipes, I can say that I do not enjoy bitter, metallic or extreme pepper....I like a little perique in pipe tobacco, so pepper is fine, but not pepper bombs that seem harsh and acrid. I have noticed some bitter aftertastes in some cigars that I have had....not a fan. CW
