It was great!! Definitely full bodied and full flavored...starts off a little spicy and mellows rather quickly but maintains a rich & chewy profile. If memory serves correct it primarily has notes of chocolate, cocoa & coffee.
It's an excellent cigar but they are also on the expensive side - and if I'm being completely honest, there are other Nicaraguan Maduros that can achieve a similar profile for much less. That said it's definitely 5-pack worthy, but out of all of what I've tried by Foundation, the Tabernacle is what I'd pick as a "must try"! |

Yeah the maduro is definitely awesome! Loved the red...and the blue...while nice, just wasn't as impressive as I expected. There was a lot of hype behind both and imo the blue just fell a little short. Still a nice smoke, but for that price I'd have liked it to really stand out a lot more. However, I think I have 1-2 of the blue left, so I'll be giving them another look eventually, but as it stands - the Wise Man/red band is the only one of the two that I'd consider buying again.
