Depending on the Norwegian ship you're on, you can also smoke on the deck directly outside the lounge (as well as other places throughout the ship). Most of the designated smoking areas are conveniently located right next to outdoor bars.

We'll be on the Escape, and yep, there's a bar conveniently located right outside of the cigar lounge.

We were on the Breakaway which is identical to the Escape. You're gonna love it! If they have it on that ship, don't forget to check out the outdoor cafe that sells yummy lobster rolls during days at sea.
