The best cigar I've had so far was a Padron series that I got in a newbie sampler. Not sure of the age gut it was so damn smooth! I've yet to have another that's come close, but then again there are so many more out there that I haven't tried.

Padron 40th anni maduro, have had 2 of these a few years back and loved them. They were never sold over here, so every trip to the USA I keep my eye out for some, no luck so far, but I have found a lot of other cigars I enjoyed while looking for these

I don't think any of them was good as that first one you try. I've had probably about 150 since (come to think of it, I'm out and need to buy another box or 2), and a few of them really hit that spot! Had a couple 2000's I smoked just a few weeks ago that I got in a trade; these were from 2004. So they had about 4 years age on them. They were good, but really didn't age any from what I could tell. Tasted exactly the same as any 2000 straight out of a new box. I do like that consistency!
