Wristwatch collectors out there?

I'm looking for a pocket watch that I can tweak.
I'd like it to be faceless, transparent on both sides to view the clockwork, and cheap (but reasonably durable.
Ideally it wouldn't have any face, but I'll likely have to pull the hands and remove the face. That's fine.
I may also engrave the bigger gears.
It's just a fun project I want to knock out for myself.

Both covers will be cut out, inlaid, and 3d.
Once I've done an inexpensive pocket watch I may do another more expensive one?

Any suggestions?

I found some on Amazon but figured you guys would know what's best for my money.
I'm thinking around 50 bucks?
Help me with the price, too, if you will.
