Re: What are you reading?
Last hot battle of the Cold War by Peter Polack. A study on the battle of Cuito Cuanavale during the Angolan war (1987). He studies the role of Cuba vs South Africa including some details on CIA involvement.
Try not to bullsh@t people who were there Peter.

The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
I'm on the last book. Nice light reading but the 4th book could use some polish

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished The Eye of the World, the first book of The Wheel of Time series. I'm intending to read through the entire series, but I'm not used to books lasting me four weeks to read! Planning to start The Great Hunt shortly. Thinking about reading something a little lighter in between each book though.

Re: What are you reading?
I read the first 5 of Iain Bank's Culture Series. Consider Phlebas, Player of Games, Use of Weapons, State of the Art and Excession.
I needed a break, so I switched to BV Larson, the Undying Mercenaries series. I'd already read Steel World, so I read Dust World, Tech World, and I'm almost done with Machine World. I like BV Larson, but the series is getting thin. Iain Banks, I just can't get with him. He jumps around and keeps me confused way too much. I'm gonna get back to BV Larson (Star Force Series) or Marko Kloos (Frontlines Series) next.
