Any good cigar based pipe blends?

anybody tried just stuffing moist cigar tobacco into a pipe and smoking it?

I tried once just out of curiosity and I didn't like it in the least.
I also attempted to smoke a bit of chewing tobacco,as it were it didn't fair too well either.
