Has anyone panned for gold before? Since summer is finally upon us in northwest Washington State, I figured it would be fun to hit the rivers and see what I can come up with and enjoy the sun. My experience is similar, panning in the summer as a kid in a number of places around Alaska. I enjoyed doing it. I always remember freezing my hands off in the glacial water, though.
