Jackets giving the Pens hell tonight - love it when the underdog does well.
Wonder what the Vegas odds are on them taking the series? |

Craziness. Home teams in the West are 11-0. Three West teams, down 2-0 in the serier, got shutouts from their goalies tonight.
Tyson Barrie out 4-6 weeks, It's shame, been a real breakthrough season for him. Robadias from Anaheim broke the same leg that kept him out 2/3rds of the season again...fracured it right above the steel rod implanted last year. I still think Reaves is a tremendous hypocrite.

Pretty disappointed to hear Barrie is going to be out 4-6 weeks. I am interested to hear what the league is going to do with Cooke.
The Avs need players coming off the injured list, not going on. Wonder where Sarich is at in his recovery, with Barrie out.... Not to mention Mitchell and maybe most importantly Duchene, who skated yesterday. Have to give Varlamov more help..... |

So the Habs sweep it, albeit with the help of team stripey shirts in game 3 (some of the worst officiating one can hope not to see). Feel for the Bolts who've had a ghastly year. (ESP Stamkos, who is alround decent sort.)

Congrats to the Bolts on a good season, if Stamkos had been there for 82, and Bishop had been healthy at the end, who knows? They will be back next year.
Adam, how do you dis Rask's performance today? Sharks got the first road win in the West and have a stranglehold. Hoping for a home win in Chitown manana.

This picture shows all I need. This guy has wrecked 4 other players knees if I remeber correctly. The league needs to make him go away. I stilk believe he cut Karlson on purpose also. He is the biggest POS in the league. SJ with the stranglehold on the series hopefully they dont choke |

I picked the Sharks to win the series in my playoff pool, I like their depth at forward and their speed. LA probably has better overall D and Quick is usually sharper than Niemi...but not in this series. I like the Sharks to beat the winner of the Ducks-Wild series as well.
