You know the Yankees are trying to figure out how to void his contract as we speak, at least if he got suspended for 1+ years they had an out on having to pay him, but with it under a year they are boned, granted it makes me smile.

I can't see how they can even let him show up for spring training, I'm assuming he won't with the ban in place, of course he will say everything that guy said was a lie and how he is going to sue everyone in the northern hemisphere how they are all out to get him and try to deflect this and blame others. He's a lying sack of crap.

I bet there's language in his contract that has him covered. With the Yanks needing someone at third, maybe that lowers the interest in Tanaka.

I think originally they were making a case that if he was suspended for over a year they could void his contract and there would be no more payments, interesting that it ended up being 161, one game LESS than a full season.

Maybe Jeter will move to third so a younger prospect can come up and play short Just kidding we know that will never happen.

What i heard before was wrong, I was wrong, it's 162 plus the playoffs if the MFYs make it, so we'll see what they do now.
