Spot on, Joe.

No seasoning necessary. No humidifcation needed either.
For one evening or a couple of days, you will be fine.
The only caveat is that if you are in a climate where the RH is above 75% RH or below 40% RH, then I might consider not leaving them in the case longer than that evening.
