The fight lived up to the hype, even though it was over sooner than I had hoped. Marquez scored a vicious "true" knockout of Paquiao at 2:59 of the 5th round...I was sincerely concerned that Paquiao was severely hurt for a couple minutes.

The ultimate redemption for Marquez, who easily could have been given the decisions in all3 of their previous bouts.

It will be interesting to see where Manny goes from here....and what excuses Bigmouth Floyd will use to avoid fighting Marquez.
