Temperature problem

Ok. Ac fixed today. Part of this question is because i just didn't know. I was told way back when that if temps got up to 80 degrees for too long it could trigger beetles. I was never told how long is "too long". over the last four days the temps have gotten up to 80 at their peak, mid 70's at night. But since i was always told don't let it get above 75 I freaked out when i saw 80 hit.

I think Im good now. Temps were not sustained at 80. They got that high but I brought them down. They are sitting comfy now that the Ac is fixed
