Just tried it out, maybe I didn't pack it right or what but it didn't have a lot of flavor. I am going to give it another shot in a week or so just not sure.

It takes some time to get it down. There are plenty of videos and info on the web on the whole process. What has worked for me was packing light and drying the tobacco out for a while. Once you get it down it is totally worth it!

Piping definately takes a little practice to get right, but don't give up yet. I have found that once you somewhat figure out packing (I still don't always get it perfect lol, in fact perfect is rare indeed) and learn to sip instead of puffing away like mad like many of us do, you will find that there is far more flavor in pipe tobacco than you could imagine. Also, would not recommend piping if you have recently smoked a cigar...yer palate is probably hosed to the generally more subtle flavors of pipe tobacco. Take your time, pour a single malt or your libation of choice, grab a good book, and relax on the back porch for awhile with a pipe and after a few tries it'll all turn out good.
