If you hunt around, I think that you will find many emulators that will allow you to play almost any old style PC game and many console games. Several of them are open source, so you only pay if you want to. Be sure to check anything you decide to use closely, since some people are using these to rootkit machines.

Every once in a while, I go to a friend's house and we crank up the PDP 11/08 and play the original adventure.
