Car troubles...any mechanics in the house?

I wish I could help you out but I am pretty useless when it comes to the workings of a vehicle. The only thing I know about cars is how to put out an engine fire (Pepsi) when you are standed on the side of the road. Good luck with the problem.

Thanks for the help guys.

By the time I got home tonight it was too late to start messing around. Luckily I can take public transportation so it is not a do or die situation, I can still get myself to work (something to be very thankful for).

I'll report back with what I find out when I am able to do some of the steps outlined here.

It was too cold to screw around too much this morning so I just called AAA (I pay for it, I might as well use it).

The dude came out, puttered around a bit and then got on the ground and thumped the hell out of the gas tank while I cranked it and gave it gas. It started up in a about 2 minutes.

I am a very happy man.

The dude suggested some fuel line antifreeze so my first stop was at Pep Boys.

Save yourself some bucks and buy a big bottle of rubbing alcohol. You get 4 times as much for 1/4 the price.
