They were all popular back then. La Gloria was an Ernie's independent company and scarce at times.

IIRC, there was a period when JR wasn't accepting new customers.

Very trendy. Puros Indios were all the rage for awhile as well. A shop I frequented only sold singles at around 16 bucks each.
