Exactly, I usually do that, especially while driving. Can't say it won't happen again, but I'll be a little wiser. After 6-7 years of solid smoking, this was a first. I'd rather do this any day than jam a lit stogie against my lips. Ouch!!

Yup, been thee, done that. We were at a drive-in watching a movie when my cigar went sour...of course I felt dumb, but such is life...

I lit the wrong end of a Bolivar Gold Medal before...dang thing started unraveling after the first couple puffs and had to throw it away just barely half way into it. Before, I used to clip the crown then toast the foot, but now I toast the foot then clip the head...no more problems with un-banded cigars and dim light

ive done this a couple times. I almost put the lit end in my mouth when tending to the campfire.
